Winter Moods are small collection I have chosen that best represent my winter painting . During January I tried to paint outside as much as possible as part of a challenge for artists globally called The Strada Easel challenge. I did survive all 31 days although had to resort to studio still life on a few occasions ! I was incredibly lucky to get away for a week of winter sun at the end of January and have included some of those more exotic paintings in the mix.

The title simply befits the story as it wa the first palm tree I had ever painted and the first of the trip to Fuerteventura. It’s still my own personal favourite for the sheer joy of the wonky palm and all the vibrant colours of the Canaries.
