Painting out in the elements
In recent years the landscape has become a more regular studio, and It is the challenge of taking paints, boards, canvas and brushes right to the heart of a scene that is the addiction. Trapping just the right colour and atmosphere on the day and in the moment is enough to keep the addict happy! These plein air references can be enough in themselves or they can feed into larger studio pieces.
